Yeah, I know, I yell at others for spamming their tawdry wares. But
this is in such good shape I figured it would be a crime -not- to let
you guys know about it:

Gee Whiz Frank for 100 Bucks you'd think that radio would have a bottle
opener and a compass.
Neat old radio tho. I like the 3 well light meters. Needs a D104 Mic.
Shamless Spam? Naaah I'd say its on topic.
Jay in the Great Mojave Desert, ....just down the road ah ways for the
fillin station.
Gas prices going way out of sight. I asked Miss Dinah at the Fillin
station how she can sleep charging so much for gas. I am ignored again!

Honestly, I wouldn't take any less for it. There's just too much good
stuff about it. Like how the clarifier works as a delta-tune in AM,
and how the headphone jack works with stereo heaphones...... if it
doesn't sell then I'll just keep it. Acutally, I'm tempted to pull the
listing and not sell it at all, but I just have too many radios right
now.

That's the problem -- I've got too many keepers. I feel this need to
'simplify' things right now so I'm thinning out my stuff across the
board. Most I'm selling locally but a few things are going up on ebay.
For instance, I have a super-rare Seahawks jacket I'll be putting up
in a day or two. Hey, you could get it yourself, and the next time
Seattle visits Cleveland you could burn it in effigy.....

Yeah that looks like a nice radio, man. But almost everything has a price
I guess.

ROFL! Yeah but I'd be more interested in the radio instead of the jacket,
if'n I didn't have too many jackets and radio's already. That's a slick
rig.

Yeah no doubt about the Collins comparison Frank, Good choice. I'm only
using the 30L1 right now out of that S line. Great amp. (forgiving with
Icom and Kenwood)too.
I'd trade my Collins station monitor for a clean electro voice and some
cash input. (not really, i hate to break it up)

Yeah I know I have a few General Radiotelephone Tube radios, and a
Johnson or two. That I would not sell. As we on this subject of older
radios.
I have a oldie but goodie Gonset G-12 4 channel crystal controlled
radio. No S-meter but has a light bulb as a transmitting indicator
and works pretty good for a 50 year old radio. I put on a old Carbon
Mic, a surplus military type, called a Eisenhower type Tank Mic. I have
this radio as a Garage Radio (I have posted the story of garage radios
here before) so I keep a ear to the locals so I know they are bad
mouthing me. Makes sense right?

Well that would be a long distance romance for sure. And we all know
these type don't work out so well. Hehehehe
Ok you need a electro voice mic, got to keep an ear on E-Bay. Or the
local Ham Radio swap meets.
Miss Dinah and I have a hate hate relationship. She hates me doubley.
