The best thing to do is Google the model # and read the details of the
scanner.

You need to evaluate what it is you want to listen to or use the scanner for
and read the scanner details to see if that covers it for you..

Its an older scanner and only listens to conventional systems, not trunking
which many are at now.

Where I live there are a mix of trunking and conven so I have a trunking
scanner
