Well, it may face no choice? What if they try Gitmo prisoners in NYC,
convict them, and then someone who writes something somebody does not
like, is labeled a terrorist, and then denied basic civil liberties
because the laws are effectively rewritten by fiat, and not by
consensus? Mandatory purchase of health insurance? Not
constitutional.

Firing civilian government workers simply because of the political
affiliation? Denies civil rights, freedom of speech, etc. Firing
inspector generals and EPA scientists because they don't like the
reports?

Bail outs, not constitutional, that's why laws of bankruptcy were
made. Crashing the currency on purpose? Doesn't that break
international treaties somewhere?

This list is not conclusive or comprehensive, and there is too much
power contained in a proposed government health care bill. Tell me
Mr. T. R. Reid, "foreign correspondent" which county the size of the
United States are you comparing your theories to?

Oh, and the cap and destroy the energy industry? Lunacy!

Good intentions does not make up for incompetence and a rush to do
these things without any safety nets of caution, but only based on the
fact that you are in political power, and actually hid a major
elements of your policies and who will form them? Who can create jobs
when these eccentric members of Congress are willing to choke
businesses out with regulations and taxes on whims produced in only
days, instead of years?

Who ever designed the stimulus package is enough evidence, even if you
ignored everything else? Americans would applaud the military if they
did this, and explained why in great detail? Seizing 10 percent of
worker's pay in California, interest free (violating the 5th
amendment, no seizure of property without compensation), as an
"interest free loan"? The rest of us are next?
