Today was an interesting day, and I just wanted to drop a note to the
audience out there that we look forward to the new year with some
enthusiasm. We will be giving the web site more of a blog look and
perhaps
some surveys, as well as options for various content and devices. Most
of
the web site will remain with a low tech approach, while retaining the
capacity to expand or handle high volume traffic. If there were no
news
events, I could work through May of next year writing material easily,
so
there is a lot to look forward to!

We all have busy days, and I want you to be able to enjoy stopping by
and
do so in the future. Humor is an important ingredient with discussions
of
adversity, and those discussions that revolve around prevention seem
to be
the most memorable ones. I am a firm believer in blatant profit
taking,
however there is a caveat. If your nation's economy drives you to the
point of escaping reality in large numbers by taking recreational
drugs on
a regular basis, are you ignoring a classic sign that your profit
taking
is in excess of normal expectations? So I will be taking several
approaches to this humor as it occurs, and spare some of you from the
bad
humor if I can (wink).

So we deal with difficult situations at times with humor, and I can't
help
but wonder just how far humor will go. Perhaps the jokes just get so
demeaning, so polarizing, that they loose their effectiveness over the
long haul? Ah, well, we can't let that happen, can we? SO then the
goal is
to lift people up, our friends, our enemies (if they exist) or anyone
who
cares to lend an ear. For that is reality, that we can only borrow the
attention of others, we should never occupy it?

For instance, I am pro-life, and against medical inteference of the
conception process of women (abortion). I believe it crosses the
ethical
boundaries of trust between God (or knowledge, if the term God offends
you) and man to keep ethical perspectives within the boundaries of
civilty
and honor. When you promise to do no harm, then the trust of being
powerful enough to protect the weak among us carries with it the honor
of
protecting the weak.

I listened to the radio today, there was a young woman who had no
thought
of hiding her enthusiasm for recreational sex and that the concept of
abortion was a grey area to her. She felt that ending a life rather
than
go through the expense of raising a child is a concept that was ok
with
her. I felt like I was mentally raped just hearing that thought
process. A
life should have no price. The cost of a gun and a bullet is
effectively
an average of one dollar in cost, if you spread out the cost of a gun,
and
its lifetime, and cost of ammo it can shoot? When society views its
weakest with the contempt of destruction, are you begging for the day
one
some one thinks it is better to spend a dollar to end your life than
to
honor our highest traditions of man?

So beyond the medical ethical considerations, I find it hard to ignore
that society should not view each other as potential failures waiting
to
happen, rather than opportunities to thin the herd. Most great
achievements take decades of hard work, not hours or years? How many
failures have you had in the last decade? Terrorism? I am more
concerned
with the spending habits of this American Congress, then I am of a
young
terrorist who becomes giddy when the invisible angels around him begin
to
flap their wings, creating the ionization of nitric oxide, which is
just
enough to spiral into the demented infidel's head long enough for him
to
light himself on fire and foil his plan?

So yes, today was interesting, and there are many educators in the
nation
that can speak the higher language that college professors do, in
cadence,
with clarity, but without distinction. To say that President Obama is
exceptional in this regard, is a myth in my opinion, for I have not
heard
from other college professors in the nation speak on various subjects
with
common ground. There is more to say on that subject, but I will refuse
to
propagate the myth that President Obama is talented in this regard
without
peer.

For example a Constitutional Scholar would tell you that requiring
that you forfeit 3 hours of your personal time waiting in the name of
public safety is the government seizing (controling) your property
(time)
and you should be compensated for that time. Or are you so socialized
from
the trauma of working for your education with no pay conditioned you
to
not demand your civil liberties from a government that wants control?
Axlerod said he wanted a better, stronger government? What do stronger
governments do?

Once socialists get past the hard shell of their deceptions, they have
no
substance to back them up? How many stadiums filled of citizens die in
socialist countries when their economies collapse and they starve to
death, usually through censorship of the situation? And I am supposed
to
be terrified of a plane crash, and not unlimited funds for Nebraska,
or
Fannie Mae? I am finding it difficult to write humor in that today. A
more
powerful government, such as one that has intimate details of your
health
records, could easily inspire fear to infringe on your free speech?

Parts of the website are disabled while we decide what content to
present,
we hope you look forward to better days ahead! I look forward to
pointing
out possible solutions to problems and look at all the angles that I
can
think of to help all people no matter what their political viewpoint
is.
Just as there is a global initiative towards socialism, perhaps I will
lead a global initiative towards conservatism (at differing rates of
course) as long as people want that debate of course. Have a great
