I was wondering. I have a cheap normal radioshack home based scanner, which
works fine. It doesn't trunk track or anything, but my PRO-95 does all that :)

I pickup all the weather stations from my house with both.
So I figure I'm picking up tons of information.
How much would it cost me to build or make a home made antenna
that can go outside or inside and pickup more freqs?

You could build a J-pole antenna for about $10 bucks, try this
