Default Digital scanners

I have been looking at get a scanner that follows digital for awhile
now. I've had my eye on the Pro 96 for some time. RS site shows 499.00
but now they have a Pro 97 for 219.00 I believe. Does the pro 97 also
receive digital?

No, it is ANALOG only but, it has room for up to 16 Alphanumeric Tags
instead of 12.

Wait a little longer...the PRO-96 is rumored to be going on sale soon, for
under $400.00.

I was confused by the Follows APCO 25 digital on RS homepage. I
thought that meant that it did follow the digital frequencies. I
appreciate the help. Thanks for the heads up on the possible sale of
the Pro 96.

The PRO-96 is APCO-25 compliant, but not the PRO-97.

Digital systems - there's no frequency that's specifically digital.

Found my problem....RS had the Pro 97 listed as APCO-25 Compliant. I
called to double check and no they have changed it. I thought I must
be going crazy
