Default Internet simulcasting

Has anyone here set up a streaming simulcast of a radio station on the
internet or know anything about it.

I am interested in doing this and I don't know whether I should do it myself
with my own server, what software and hardware to use, or if I should just
hire a third party host.

Does anyone have any input??

Thanks
