A SOLAR FLARE visited our planet this week, but the impact on the
Liberty Net was minimal, as many of the cornerstone stations on the
net have taken the time and effort to have maximally strong signals
� and they shine through even when the ionosphere is uncooperative.

Here�s my summary of a few of the issues debated and discussed on
the Liberty Net this session:

� Why do the Washington regime�s immigration authorities
consistently favor Muslims and other non-Whites, yet make it
extremely difficult for White people to immigrate here? (18 minutes)

� With the bankers and their �Fed� able to create any number of
billions of dollars at will, there is no reason at all for �income
taxes� or the IRS � except to control and intimidate us. (28 minutes)

� The IRS goons are now claiming that their release of personal and
private taxpayer information to oligarch and mega-criminal George
Soros was �unintentional.� (32 minutes)

� When quasi-Communist Democrats and warmongering neocon Republicans
are united on anything, you know it�s bound to be bad for us � and
they�re totally united on what they call �comprehensive immigration
reform,� which is really the legalization of the Mestizo invasion.

� Expect the IRS scandal to lead to phony �reforms� which will
actually make the agency much more destructive, dictatorial, and
political. (1 hour)

� Innumerable cities across America are being gutted by deliberate
deindustrialization and devastated by genetic decline � it�s not
just Detroit and Milwaukee. The Third Worlding of America is nearly

� If the pathetic monopoly �health care system� that the oligarchs
are forcing us into was so good, why is Congress exempt from it? (1

� Instead of trying to influence the boobs who elected Fetchit to
elect someone �better,� our focus should be on passive resistance,
civil disobedience, secession, and building an entirely new nation.

PICKENS COUNTY -- TriCounty Amateur Radio Group will hold a training event
next week to show off some of the new HAM Radio equipment and technologies
available. "There are a lot of young operators out there who talk on
Walkie-Talkies and we want to let them know about some of the new things
available," said Ken Sams of the radio operators group. 'They are talking
on radios that will allow them to reach from hear to Greenville with
repeaters. Equipment is now available that will allow them to talk (on a
handset) around the world," Sams said. In practical applications, the HAM
operators in Pickens County have assisted law enforcement in searches for
missing people and in weather spotting. The operators are able to go into
remote areas in nearby mountains and assist in law enforcement
communications. One example was in assisting with the location and
evacuation of a missing person from the Horse Pasture area. "We were able
to get up there and provide the GPS coordinates for the helicopter pilot,"
Sams said. Last week, Sams said he spent Wednesday night working through
Skywarn Net, a local network of HAM operators that act as trained weather
spotters during severe weather. They act as eyes in the community for
tornadoes and flooding and other severe weather, providing a communications
link. They are able to communicate when land telephone lines, Internet and
cell phones don't work, he said.

When many kids her age are learning texting abbreviations such as ROFL or
IYKWIM ("if you know what I mean"), 10-year-old Sierra Saylors is focused
on KK4RJW. That's her call sign, the collection of numbers and letters
issued by the FCC that identifies her as a legitimate ham-radio operator.
On the air you may hear a timid "KK4RJW, CQ?" know that it is spoken with a
big, hopeful smile. Sierra is thought to be the youngest ham-radio operator
in Northwest Georgia. Although ham radios may seem outdated in an era of
smartphones and Twitter, hobbyists remain devoted to their frequencies,
enjoying the chance for random chatter while standing by to use the
airwaves in an emergency. Sierra wanted to join her parents; father, David
WK4DS and mother Teresa KG4WHE, as amateur radio operators. After Sierra
saw her father work a ham in Russia with Morse code, she was primed to get
her ticket, FCC amateur radio license. She studied for a month and passed
the Federal Communications Commission's required technician-license this
week with flying colors. Recent years have seen a huge revival in the
interest in amateur radio, said Allen Pitts, spokesman for the American
Radio Relay League, a national ham-radio group. "We were the first social
media, and ham radio has had a three-year growth spurt in the number of new
licensees, now with almost 700,000 in the U.S.," Mr. Pitts said.

SILENT KEY

It is with great sadness that the Cape Town Amateur Radio Centre
records the sudden passing on Friday evening 17 May of Maurice
Drinkwater, ZS1ACH. He was 61. Maurice had a heart attack about three
weeks ago but was home and recovering well when he suddenly collapsed
and died. Coming to SA from Zimbabwe he quickly assimilated into the
Western Cape amateur fraternity, first associating himself with Oakdale
where he served as chairman of the club for a number of years.
Thereafter he began to associate more with the Cape Town ARC where he
was always keen to assist at all our field events, but more importantly
as QSL manager, where he quickly catalogued our call books and claimed
several certificates on our behalf. In this sphere, he is an immense
loss to the club. At the recent SARL AGM, Maurice was awarded the Jack
Twine Merit Award.

To his wife Celia, and son Alex, ZR1SPA, our deepest sympathy and
condolences. His key may be silent but his signals will always be 5 and
9 plus 40.
