scenario will likely occur, that Rush Limbaugh will probably begin the

opponent's youth and inexperience, compared to how long I have been in
radio.”

Oh, well, I guess that only makes 9 reasons, huh, if you can't use
your imagination? Do you find Jerry Lewis shows very funny? Did Clint
Eastwood give us a hint? You sprinkle humor, you don't unscrew the top
of the spice jar just enough so someone will pick it up, and then dump
it on a dinner, ruining it? Don't worry Bill O'Rielly, I don't want
your job, your shows are great lately?

Go ahead make my day. But being that Google is the most powerful
search engine in the world, and could possibly return over 213 million
hits for the phrase “the dumbest thing Glenn Beck ever said”, you've

I see the following merits in my proposal:

1. It will allow those who are too ill or weak to participant to be
included in the event as active participants.

2. A lot of people are interested in BOTH running AND cars. My
proposal will give these folks a perfectly natural way to combine
these interests.

3. By allowing participants to ride in cars and other vehicles for the
majority of the race, the event will be completed in far less time. It
will also result in less physical stress on participants, which will
make the event both safer and more comfortable.

It’s also worth noting, just as an aside, that the marathon scene in
many communities is completely dead at present. I believe that, if we
go on to allow vehicles in all marathons, this will result more
marathons in more communities!

You know what? It is none of the bankrupt business of the State of
California to tell people how many watts their tv's use. They already
want to dig in our trash, bug our house, bug our phones, and watch our
bank accounts? What's next, hair dryers, air conditioners, lights on
at night time (safety)? Just how many people in California can afford
to buy these things? A plasma tv only uses 330 watts per hour? Do you
have any idea what web site servers use, or people that have to do any
kind of video editing of their family cameras, or simply play a video
game, or a pc flight simulator? So you bust your tail end all year, so
you can save up money to use electricity the way you want to, and
these stoned out liberals think they are saving the planet? OMG! Just
who do you think you are fooling?

The Glenn Beck show mentioned that Andy Stern said "if the power of
persuasion does not work, we will use the persuasion of power"? Is
that what greedy communists do? So does a prayer vigil, like the one
in 2007 validate the accusation that unions and their political action
groups act like thugs? Or does the persuasion of power, represented by
false numbers on the US Government 18 million dollar web site, which
apparently is not paying for fact checking, for stimulus tax money
spent the persuasion of power? So who is comparing how the money was
allocated (was that money allocated to imaginary people and
congressional districts?) and how it is spent? Using a fine tooth
comb, or simply being negligent in your job?

And here is the problem with this public relation web site, www.recovery.gov.
25 different agencies are inputting data into the system, apparently
with no auditing? So why the rush for the public relation web site
without verifying the numbers unless you really don't have faith in
the program in the first place? Why wasn't this created and tested
before the money was spent? So a lot of this are ad hoc efforts to
further political actions, and perhaps further political spending in
the future? Does that alarm you, if they are reporting imaginary
congressional districts, are they issuing checks to imaginary
projects?
Given the past record of government credit card records, that is not
a partisan question, but one of common sense? (info taken from

And should accounting and auditing debacles distract us from the more
important questions, who designed the stimulus spending bills and
packages without good auditing trails in the first place? Getting back
to Joe Lieberman, do you know what you do when people are making noise
outside your house all night? Other than burning bales of hay (might
not work in a metro area)? Put a copy of Joel Osteen's sermon(s) in
the DVD player, with the stereo jacks hooked up to your home stereo,
and put a speaker outside.
Turn up the volume so they can enjoy the sermon (with out violating
noise regulations). Either that or simply put on the local radio
gospel station? You would be surprised how many delinquent teen agers
disappear because they loose their interest in watching others drink
beer?

One day, I met a truck driver at lunch time. He was recognized in the
company as having driven over not just one million safe miles without
an accident, but was one of the top ten industry safest drivers. He
was a humble, hulk of a black man, a Negro. And he was obviously
conservative? This is what he said, he said, "retirement is a man made
invention, God did not invent retirement".

That is the persuasion of power.
