I purchased a used Yaesu FT-101ee off of Ebay. When I transmit
with either a CW stright key or the microphone on AM the CW sidetone
comes out of the ft-101e speaker. Keying the CW key in CW mode does
not transmit. Whas there a mod for a Yaesu FT-101e that turned AM
mode in to sort of a code practice oscillator?

UPDATE..

The CW tone oscillator does work, because if I manually key the radio
via the front panel MOX switch while in CW mode and then press the CW
key the radio transmits the CW tone.
Now I'm looking at the PB1315B audio board. On the schematic it
looks like the output from the CW oscillator (Q7) is fed to the input
of the vox amp (Q4) on pin 1 via coupling capacitor C15. VOX does
work in SSB mode and the mic audio is also fed to the VOX amp via pin
1, so the VOX amp is ok. Unfortunately the capacitors on the board
are not number, and staring at the traces has not revealed C15. I'm
wondering if the schematic I have is not the schematic for the audio
board version I have. Apparently Yaesu had diferent versions of the
audio board at different times.
Does anyone has a schematic for the PB1315B audio board?
