Default Get a Titanic QSL!

Well, OK, not from THE Titanic, but there are several amateur radio
Titanic "special event" stations on the air. Typically, their QSL cards
have an interesting picture of the Titanic, a nice addition to your QSL
collection.

1) Go to www.dxsummit.fi

2) At the home page, choose "Search"

3) At the Search page, in the "search string" column, put in "mgy". This
is the radio call of the Titanic and is incorporated in most of the
special event station's ham calls. Exception: KM1CC, the Marconi station
in Wellfleet, MA that copied the Titanic's distress call. Do a separate
search for that station.

4) Choose "search any column"

5) For "mode", choose SSB, CW or ALL. Your choice.

6) Press the "search" button. This will show you what stations are on
and their latest frequency.

7) When you copy the station, look up their QSL address on the web.
Report the time, frequency and the station they were working.

That's all there is to it; your chance to participate in the Titanic's
100th anniversary. (and don't forget a little prayer or moment of
silence for the lost souls)
