Default S-36 Tuning Unit Part

My S-36/RBK-13 has thrown a shoe. The small drive gear
that is on the shaft turned by the main tuning knob has
split. I wonder if anyone has parted out an S-36 and has the
shaft assembly. This is the shaft that also carries the stop
cam. Replacing it looks its a lot of work but possible.
I will have a shot at repairing the original with
super-glue but I doubt it will work.
This receiver has been a constant companion for some 30
years so I would like to keep it alive if possible.

Contact the guys at www.odometergears.com. They can make a mold from
the broken original and stamp you out a new delrin one.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I used to know a finemechanic
who could have machined one of brass in a minute but he's
dead now.
Getting at this thing looks to be a major job, not
looking forward to it.
