Default APS 13 DX Antenna with a good 70s tuner

I am have a old fisher tuner but I am looking to get a better 70s fm tuners for
about $100 to $150 off eaby. I am looking at getting McIntosh Marantz Kenwood
Pioneer with good am/fm slective wich one of these would you reccommond for
dxing in my price range. Would using a APS 13 antenna with the tuner that you
reccommond be good for dx 150miles or more. What is I put this dxing antenna
36ft higher would that work good or would I need to go higher and how high
would I need to put it. Any help good in this area would be nice if you know
anything I might need to know.
