Default Can Touchlamps damage or effect speakers?

Hello. I have a small "touch lamp" - you touch it anywhere, it turns on,
off, or dim. I know that it emits some minor RFI which can effect nearby
radios.

The table is small, so the touchlamp is right next to one of my mini-
system speakers. (speaker = 100watts max, "medium" size). The lamp metal
is about 4 inches from the main speaker cone magnet.

Is this safe? Can this damage the speaker, or wreak havoc with the
speaker magnet? Can it effect the speaker when it's "on"? Or will a
touch-lamp's circuitry have no effect on a speaker?

Thank you for any advice...
