Default Which Scanner for Bucks County, Pa???

Ok having recently moved to Upper Bucks County, Pa (Quakertown-Hellertown)
area and finally unpacking my radio gear, I need to upgrade my scanners to
the wonderful new world of Digital!!!

So here's my question.. Which if any would give me the most bang for my
bucks??? I'd like to find one that would allow me to listen to the local
Bucks-Lehigh-Northampton PD-FD-ETC. and if possible the option of still
keeping an ear on the digital system in use in Philly. Does such an animal
exist???

Thanks

Any of the digital trunkers can also handle analog, no problem.
There are some differences, though; for example, the PRO96 cannot be
computer controlled - only up/downloads, the Unidens can. The PRO96
doesn't do MilAir out of the box (and even when opened up using Win96,
not always very well), the Unidens do.
On the other hand, the Unidens have a proprietary battery pack, while
the PRO96 can use standard AAs.
You can check out a few facts and comparisons on the Strong Signals
website (they have message boards devoted to each of the digitals),
Radio Reference (numerous boards here) and also he

And of course, there's lots of Yahoo groups for these trunkers. In
addition, I'd join the Phillyscanner Yahoo group - likely you'll get
lots of opinions about the digitals there.
