Default Kenwood R-5000, what pilot lamp?

Can anyone give me the type number on the pilot lamp used in
the R-5000? Manual shows 14V, 80 ma. Anyone have a lamp
type number (I have Kenwood part number, but wanted number where
I could buy lamp from parts house). Does this lamp light the S-Meter?
The S-meter on my receiver is dim, am wondering if the correct lamp is
inst alled.

Thanks,

Hi, Jim,

I'm not certain of the pilot lamp type number for your Kenwood,
but you might be able to do a visual comparison against the
descriptions and dimensions in this list from bulbs.com:

http://www.bulbs.com/products/produc...ucts&class=743

There certainly may be other, better sites to search. Hope this helps.

Regards,
John
