Default "Hidden frequencies" on KA1102

I would like to know if anyone playing around with this radio has
found frequencies beyond those stated for reception? AM is stated
520-1720 but I have been able to tune t250 +/- to high 400, and on SW
I have hit plenty of frequencies lower than those indicated.
0.200-1.500
Thanks and happy listening

Hello:
I've heard that some of the 1102 units are equipped with key sequences that unlock additional frequency ranges. I tried entering the key sequences on my (US) Kaito 1102 but did not have success.

Here's the thread over at dxing.info if you want to take a look:

cheers,
