Default Export and Domestic Radio Repair AM/FM/SSB

I have been doing CB Radio Repair for over 20 years now for a group of
local operators and decided to go bigger than the group. So here I am.

I will repair your Export or Domestic AM/FM, AM/FM/SSB or AM/SSB Base
or Mobile for a flat $45 or less + shipping. I also take trade-ins as
well. Send me 2 radios like a Galaxy DX-88 and a Cobra 148 GTL and I
will fix the Galaxy DX-88 for FREE. 3 Radios gets you free return
shipping. Radios must be complete. If you trade in a non complete
radio, I will give you a discount of 10% or more depending on the
condition and how complete it is.

I will also fix the more popular 40 Channel AM only rigs like Cobra
29LTD, Uniden PC66 etc...

Fore more info or questions E-Mail me at:

Remove the "no-spam" from the e-mail address.

Or Call:

West Coast Radio
P.O. Box 253\111 E. Buell st.
Montague, CA. 96064
(530) 459-3779

TIP #29: Do not waste your time calling about radios you can buy new
for 25.99 at WalMart. They are not worth fixing when you can buy a new
one for the same price and have an extra mic and bracket from the old
one.

Awww, man, I can't send you this Cobra 19WX? :

(They make good paperweights or bookends for CD's!)

Can you fix the attached radio... and e-mail it back to me?
Thanks.

I have known people to turn up with equipment for repair and say, "If it
costs more than a fiver, don't bother".
I just tell them to take it back with them, the parts will most likely cost
more than that.
Even with videos, some say things like, "If it costs more than a a tenner,
don't bother... I can get my Uncle John to do it for less". So I tell them
to just take it to their Uncle John... if he can get the service kit (belts,
idler, etc) for that, then he is welcome to the job.

I'll bet that none of them would work for nothing.

Regards,

Peter.

If I could, the shipping would be waived

In most cases, these little radios would work for less than a tenner.
The fianl or driver in such case, but the labor is what eats em up.
If your willing to work on stuff for free and spend your money on
others parts, then go for it. I used to fix rigs for free except for
parts, but it got to hectic with all them running in. But when you say
$25.00 to add channels and Peak, they run the other way. I guess they
could do without or pay another shop $45 or more for a sloppier job.
I always found it funny when someone wants a radio fixed so bad that
they say I will pay whatever to repair it (thinking $10) and when they
find out that parts alone will cost more than that, then the labor,
They just say keep it. Must not have wanted it very much. The next
thing to do is put it up on eBay and sell it to the same person for
more than what it would have cost to fix. Hehee! Some people.

Regards,

Peter.

I've got a 25GTL here for that reason. I don't use it.
I'm also thinking about parting out these 3 Panasonic 4420's.
