Default FS or Trade: Montgomery Ward 40 Channel AM mobile GEN-775

hey there everybody,

i have got a Montgomery Ward model GEN-775 40 Channel AM mobile cb
radio that i want to see if anybody will be willing to trade for like
a Cobra 148GTL or a equalivant.... it doesn't transmit all the time,
but it's intermitent.. maybe u would have the time to see what exactly
is wrong with it and stuff to get it to work again 100 percent...

here is the stuff i have for it:

1.) the owner's manual
2.) i don't have no mobile mounting bracket for it :-(
3.) of course i still got the radio
4.) it hasnt been peaked, tweaked or moded in any way
5.) it puts out about 4 watts on straight AM

PS: i have a picture i took of it on my laptop, so if anybody wants to
see a pic of it i will send ya one upon request.....

Not exactly a fair deal here. You're wanting a 40 channel SSB set in
supposedly working condition for a straight 40 AM set that doesn't work all
the time? Maybe there isn't much wrong with it, but time is also money and
to investigate the cause and cure it is worth at least an hour of labor.
Nope, not a fair deal at all! GW
