Question Radioshack DX-400

Hello,
This is my first post. So forgive me if I am not very savvy yet.
I was looking for a users manual for the Radioshack DX-400 AM/FM/Shortwave radio.
I wouldn't need a hard copy.
A scanned one or a PDF or any other kind would be greatly appreciated.

I picked up a used DX-400 for my father who has recently become disabled.
He loves listening to shortwave more than anything; I am only a little familiar with shortwave and have not been able to get the most out of the radio for my father.

Thank you in advance for any information anyone could provide.
Have a really great Easter.

Jason

Hi Jason! I just joined a few minutes ago after buying my 440 at a yard sale yesterday for $1. I have been trying to find a manual as well and here is where you can download one safely!
http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-in...HACK/DX-440-_E
I am having issues with my computer and haven't downloaded it yet but I am working on that as well.
My 440 has fresh batteries in it and I can't hear anything from it. I plugged in a headset and still bothing. I also put it on f.m. radio and did a "scan" and it didn't stop at any stations and kept searching on and on. So I have some issues with mine but for a $1, it's worth trying to figure out or get repaired. I'm new here as well as I stated and I'm going to try and figure out how to post my problem as a separate post. Try www.eham.com as well.....also a very nice group to join! Always try a Google search for anything you need.........thats where I found this site as well as manuals and other sites.........don't forget to install Mcafees SITE ADVISOR if you don't have it so you won't go to bad sites! GOOD LUCK!!! Jerry
