Default Comments on the Grundig 2000 "Porsche" radio

I recently purchased this radio and I am not sure if it has poor
reception of if recent Solar propagation issues are involved. It's
pretty looking but on shortwave, WWV is the only thing I have been able
to receive but with loud background of noise. I would appreciate input
from anybody familiar with this radio.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Ron

Recent conditions are undoubtedly making your experience worse than normal for this radio, but I have read it's strong point is good looks.

Ron:
its a nice looking set but only single IF;

- Have you tried using it outside?
Have you tried it with an external antenna ??

- What part of the world are you in BTW
Recent solar issues may be part of the problem
