I think a cantenna is a dummy load - sorta like a G5RV.
But why would I want a WIFI antanna? What would I do with one? NEO |

This is basically a horn antenna with a 1/4 antenna element. All dimensions are critical to operation and there is not much room for inaccuracy. Generally you don't want to extent your range as you just make yourself more open to be hacked. You do not want your signal to extend beyond your property lines where someone can access your network say from a car parked out in front of your house or from a neighbors house. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
