Thank you very much in advance for your understanding, cooperation,
and assistance.

No prob at all, one of my friend has Asperger. He's pretty smart
though and never had any problems seeing sense or nonsense for that
matter. Also one of the best person I've gotten to know from the net,
although admittedly he claims he does better online than in life. =P

I don't know about your friend, but most "Asperger's Syndrome"
diagnoses are self-diagnoses. The number of proclaimed AS cases has
gone up by a factor of 20 since 1980.

It's the trendy self-diagnosis, much the way "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome"
is.

As in:

"He's a genius, but he plays Worlds of Warcraft all day in his mother's
rec room because he's got Asperger's. So sad."

"I can't work and am on permanent disability because of Chronic
Fatigue."

Add to this the casual self-diagnoses--or diagnoses with the help of a
suitably-chosen doctor--of "Attention Deficit Disorder" (ADD and ADHD)
and "Bipoloar Disorder," and one sees that society is providing many
excuses for failure.

We taxpayers are expected to work harder and longer to pay for the
upkeep of a rapidly-expanding number of AS, CFS, ADHD, and BD
layabouts.

Wow! Tim, you may have figured where SSI went wrong - they're now
accepting self diagnoses of disabilities.

Maybe we can head this thing off by requiring an MD diagnoses!!!
