MMANA question

Hi,

With JE3HHT's MMANA antenna modelling application, does
anybody know how to redirect the .ini file from the desktop
to some other directory. I'm using XP Home.

TIA - Joe, G3LLV

OM VE3JUA,

Thanks for that but I've been there and they require too
much personal info for my liking when you sign up to the
group.

My MMANA.ini file is located in the MMANA 'home' directory.
I would suggest to place it there and see if things are still working.

Success,
Arie.

Arie,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have cured my problem by
uninstalling and then reinstalling the application and by
not opting for a desktop icon on startup. Subsequently I
'sent' one to the desktop and all is now well.

I don't know much about Windows but believe that if an
application cannot find its .ini file, it may then create
one. With my installation of MMANA it was doing just that
but placing it on the desktop which was no big deal, just a
little untidy. Incidently, the one already in the home
directory didn't changed even after several simulations as
normally the ANT and FILE1,2,... entries do so to reflect
what was tried last.

Thanks once again.
