I have a Mosley tribander with the following symptoms:
SWR on 20 is 2:1 and there appears to be no pattern or it is very skewed. On the antenna analyzer, it is showing 100 ohm impedence. The other bands are operating normally. My guess it one of the 20 meter traps in the driven element has either roasted or a wire has come undone. That would make half the antenna too short on 20. Before I go up and take it down, anyone care to venture what I will find? I would like to be prepared so I can fix it with the least amount of downtime. |
