Notice to Mark at kb9rqz.net

Mark, are you intentionally posting to the rec.radio.amateur.antenna newsgroup,
or have you inadvertantly posted to this group while intending to post in some
other newsgroup.

The reason I ask is that your postings are not relevant to the
rec.radio.amateur.antenna news group.

If you are inadvertantly posting to this news group, please note and readdress
your postings to only the news group that peaks your interest. It is wasteful of
space and time to continually post to a newsgroup that has no interest in what
you're saying.

Hi Walt,

You're wasting you time with these people. Roy tried it with no avail.
For some reason they decided to abandon any form of news group
courtesy and post their stuff anywhere without the slightest respect
for others.

Walter,, when these type of people see that this is an adverserial
newsgroup they want to join in.because some people like pouring it on
for auguments sake. Ofcourse they can't enter the antenna arguements
they will make up there own auguements in the hope that you will join
them in the fray, after all they believe they have found a place that
they will be noticed. They are succeeding in their quest as people in
the antenna field also enjoy arguements and adverserial relationships
such as yourself and others who have added to this thread. Lets face
it, this newsgroup is losing favor with hams because of its content.
Over the years I have seen many a knowelagble ham fade away from this
newsgroup in disgust while the small core stays on in adverserial
relationships that continually draws these sick type of people. For
things to change the few perceived antenna experts will have to change
their mind set and not challenge everybody with respect to their
intelligence regarding a subject. But that is not going to happen as
the few self perceived experts have oulasted all the true experts and
now perceive themselves as the Senate for Antennas in this very small
pond that we inhabit. Now we appear to be going thru a stage of
nitpicking
that is always good for auguement starters thus strengthening the
attraction to the sick people. The bottom line is that I believe that a
few of the long term self percieved expert inhabitants really enjoy
adverserial debates but dislike the idea of outsiders taking attention
away from them .So a change in the gradual demise of this newsgroup is
going to continue
until a core group fades away as it has done with many an old type ham
that rejected the CB ers who were interested as outsiders the same as
those who rattle morse code spark plugs who feel the same way towawds
fellow hams who shy away from those who feel what they do is a true
sign of intelligence. Walter, you really should join a group that
research the
different facets of antennas even tho it means swimming in a sea
containing bigger fish as they will stay on the subject of antennas
where their interests really lie. That is not the case for many that
frequent this newsgroup. As with antennas you have to compromise on
many things to achieve your desires what ever they may be..

Art
