Depends on how much current you are drawing. Quoting from my SG-230 manual: "SGC does not recommend installing the Smartuner more than 100 feet from the transmitter ..." 300 ft. of stranded #16 has a resistance of about 1.3 ohms at 20 degrees C. My SG-230 draws about one amp. oops i did forget that sorry your right it's 1amp draw i should have enough info to calc tnx to all that posted!! |
