I have home made antennas for 23cm and 13cm ATV. These are made mainly of
copper, Copper clad fibreglas PCB material and 3mm diameter silver plated wire with silver plated N-Type connectors an solid copper coax. I want to protect them from corrosion etc. Is there a paint, varnish, laquer etc. (ideally an aerosol type) that I can use which will not introduce losses? If someone can give me guidance as to what base type - for example acrylic - I should use it would be most helpful. I am always wary of the sprays supplied for spraying vehicles but these seem to be the most commonly available. Thank you Dick G4BBH |
