Mounting antennas atop rowhomes?

in rvers.com: I want to get a simple omnidirectional antenna in the air. Part of the issue is that I have heard hairy stories about attaching the antennas to the chimney. Problem is that I live in a rowhome. The front and rear is stucco. Really the only thing to attach it to is the chimney... Does it have a roof you can (or are willing to) make holes in? While I don't live in a rowhouse, I've had a small TV tripod on the roof which has been supporting an R5 vertical for years. -- Bert Hyman | St. Paul, MN | |
