Walter, I know you peruse the discourse in this NG from time to time.

Very nice article you wrote in QST about FCC, Adcock antennas and WWII.
An enjoyable read. Thanks.

And to you and Richard, Owen, Cecil, Roy, Yuri, Chuck and anyone else

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply-I'm pleased that you liked my article on the FCC in
WW2.
I apologize for the delay in responding, but I have been overwhelmed by the
number of responses, and the time consumed with house guests over the Holidays
that prevented me from getting to the keyboard in a timely manner.
I submitted another article to QST, but they said there was insufficient space
for it, so they published it on the ARRL Web Extra page. That page has not been
well publicized, so only a few have seen it. I believe you will also find this
article interesting, and the easiest way to see it is to go to Google and enter
'Evolution of K2BSA'. It is the story of how the National Headquarters of Boy
Scouts originally acquired an amateur radio station.
You might also find my own web page of interest. I invite you to take a look at
www.w2du.com.
73, and a Happy New Year!
Walt, W2DU
