Cushcraft question

Is it true that Cushcraft stop the production of ham antennas?
I heart this story earlier this week on the band.

What Cushcraft said was that they were discontinuing production of
replacement parts for their "older obsolete antennas" including the AP8,
AP8A, R4, R5 and R7. This is dated back in the early 2000s sometime so
it's pretty old news. I haven't heard or seen anything since that would
indicate that they're getting out of the amateur business.

In fact, I just received a reply to a query for R4, R5 and R7 antenna parts
(storm damage repair) -- said they have them -- and just have to give them
the part numbers from the manual !

Cushcraft (and all commercial antenna mfg.) have been focusing on the
cellular and microwave bands for the past several years.
