I like #14 house wire because of the price-availability-durability
features.

The SG 237 tuner at the antenna will probably tune anything past 9
feet with longer being better. Don't over look the ground quality will
have a significant.effect on the antenna's performance.

Of course my 'best" and your "best" may not be the same thing!
