Ham radio programs steer 2-axis antenna arrays to follow along the paths of
the seelcted satellite. Hardly fantasy. OM.

Hi Willy

What kind of satellites are you considering? How big is the Dish and
what frequency are you considering?
Timestep ( http://www.time-step.com/ ) has alot of "small dish" antenna
pointing hardware and software for NOAA satellites.
NASA publishes alot of data on the position and tracking of satellites
