antenna question
If I have an 136' ant feed with 80' or so of ladderline. If I wanted to
work it against ground for 160m use: 1. would it be better off if I fed it with both ends jumped together on the ant side of my tuner? 2. Or, would it be better off if I put a relay in at the feedpoint to jump two sections that way, and also close off the wires on the ant side of the tuner? |

I think I did it thisa way: Tie both sides of feedline to the center of a short piece of coax. Tie the braid of the coax to a ground. put a connector on the other end of the coax and connect it to the radio (thru a tuner,) HTH |
