Default Long Distance Microwave Oven?

Let me be the first to predict this weapon won't go very far.. It will
not take the cell phone generation but milliseconds to realize that
staying behind a parabolic (more or less) piece of aluminum foil or
cut open beer cans stuck to a cardboard contraption will bounce back
the energy giving the troops/police backing up the emitting vehicle a
taste of their own...

Tin foil hats, anyone?

everybody is on about metal objects for protection. has anybody seen what
happens when you put metal in a microwave??? lots of sparks and heat.

best defence is to avoid it in the 1st place
