ferrite antenna design...plz help
hi...
i am currently doin a project and am stuck at making a ferrite core antenna with tuning circuit to detect a 457 khz RF wave.can aneone help me in this regard... regards vedaprakash |

You just have to increase the C a little. Tam |

Regards, JS Why bother doing this? The AM coil will tune to within 10% of the frequency as is with about 400 PF. Add another 100 PF or so. Tam |

Chris I have seen the lowfers use cores placed end to end, (sometimes superglued and placed in a plastic tube), however, two cores laid side by side with the turns surrounding both will, most likely, be suitable here ...
