![]() I haven't been monitoring the group for a while. *Wondering if anyone has considered two screwdriver type antennas mounted horizontal in a dipole fashion in the attic and appropriate control to acheive a tuneable attic dipole. *stealth in CCR is the motivation. john AB8O * *Sounds like it would work, to me, *but if it were me I would use wire instead. *You can probably place wire more effectively in your attic and just use an SGC antenna coupler to tune it at the feedpoint. *Would probably not only work better, but would be cheaper, too. * *Ed * K7AAT Hoo booooey, here we go again.... denny ??? Have I missed something? Ed |

I suppose a person might with a lot of effort to synchronise the screwdrivers, and a whole heck of lot of money for the screwdrivers themselves, manage to put a really mediocre antenna in their attic! There are a lot more cost effective solutions out there. - 73 de Mike N3LI - |

Problem with avoiding this is that I do not go back and read archives everytime I see a post on which I may comment...... I did not remember seeing this one before.... Ed K7AAT |
