Small tuned loops
I notice that MFJ has a loop tuner (model 936b) that allows you to use
varying lengths of wire and varying materials (wire, copper tubing) to make loops resonant on different bands. Has anyone used one of these to tune small to medium sized loops and, if so, what were the results? I wonder how this item would compare with either the MFJ high q loops (models 1982-1788) or with a wire loop tuned with something like an SGC 320 auto tuner. I'd appreciate any insights you can share. Thanks. Steve |
