Anybody where the find W4RNL's antenna-modelling series ?

Hello...,

I was looking for LB Cebik's amod series (antenna modelling articles)
ranging from amod1.html to somewhere around amod137.html

Despite the fact that antennaX says that all of LB's articles are
freely accessable, I only find amod91 to amod114 available on their
website.

Anybody who does have the whole range of LB's antenna modelling
articles available ?

Thanks in advance,
Arie.

Nice thought. However, posting the URL like that is like asking for a
takedown notice.

I also downloaded a copy before the site was locked
down. Unfortunately, I missed the files Arie is asking for.

Downloading the mirror was certainly legal. Under Norwegian law, I am
allowed to give copies to others "within the private sphere", whatever
that may mean, but not to make it available to the public. I have no
idea what happens if a copy crosses an international border.

I don't know if I am "reading" that sentence for the meaning you wish to
imply ... or not.

However, most here in the USA put up a website to generate as much
traffic to it as possible. The more traffic generated, the bigger the
success realized. (i.e., I have never put up a site where mass traffic
to it is viewed as a "problem.")

While some low bandwidth sites may use up their traffic allotment for
the month (this encourages the successful to purchase more bandwidth),
the next month the bandwidth is available, again. (on a free ISP, you
may use up your bandwidth, but next month, it is available again.)

Your countries mileage may vary ... but then, in this country (USA), we
cannot imagine paying a "Tele-tax", such as in England ...

JS

Hmm, unfortionally, no real usefull response.

I thougth that in the past L.B. Cebik's pages were some kind of
'freeware' and public accessable.

It's hard to understand for me that one is able to claim someone
others 'creation' and make money out of it.
I would have thougth that especially for someone like L.B. who did
such a tremendous job, writing all those articles for free and
publishing them for free, that all those who 'surrounded' him would
have honoured him and continue publishing his work without
restrictions...

Unfortionally this seems not possible anymore nowadays.
Too bad.

Arie.

Where are the days that people did things for free, just because they
enjoyed it...

They're still here. NGs are one proof. Every year, hundreds or thousands
of insightful posts in almost any group you can name -- all without any
thought of compensation.

All of Cebik's articles were copyrighted and much of his work has
always been available only through AntennaX in book- or CD-form. No
real change there.
