Is the 7 inches measured from center to center of each bowtie or from
the end of one bowtie to the end of the other?

Thanks for the advice on the DTV antenna. I managed to get
some improvement on it by properly dressing and managing
the leads. (I forgot who made that suggestion, sorry).

Center to center. Or top to top...
What I actually did was to make a mark on the dowl at
1 inch and 8 inches from the end. Then mount the bowties
at those locations. Lineing up the marks with the bottom
of the bowtie clip.
