The way I take the measurements is by replacing my transceiver with the 259B with the tuner in "bypass" mode. you might want to try the mfj reading again at the coax going into the tuner. the length of the line and the impedance lumps from the relays in the tuner will transform the impedance going through the tuner even in bypass mode. while the difference may be small on the low bands it could be significant on the higher bands. |
