Crossposted to rec.radio.amateur.homebrew, rec.radio.amateur.antenna, and
rec.radio.amateur.boatanchors I wanted a dual-meter voltmeter to mount atop an LDG battery booster to continuously indicate input and output voltages, so I rebuilt an old SWAN Electronics SWR-1A meter and now have the faceplate and the internal SWR sensor unit left over. I'll mail (without charge in the USA) the faceplate to the first person who wants to restore hizer scratched-up SWR-1A faceplate. Although it weighs less than five ounces, the sensor unit is obviously a bit bulkier (about 5" x 2" x 1.5") than the flat faceplate!-) It includes two integrally-mounted SO-239 connectors, two diodes, two resistors, two capacitors, the dual pot and its knob, and the really-sturdy sensor (but NOT the two 100 microamp meters which I used in my project!-), all connected as they were in the original unit. If someone wants it, it should mail well and shouldn't take too much postage. --73, W0PBV at ARRL dot net |
