Default Transmission line stuff 2

Hi again,

What do operators in desert conditions do about getting an earth? I
assume any antenna that relies on an earth image for its counterpoise
is a non-starter? Are balanced systems the only way to go when all you
have around you is sand?

Elevated or buried radial wires suffice.
