My 5-band (20m thru 10m) hexbeams typically weigh in at around13lbs;
this is the weight budget:

Fishing pole spreaders (6 needed): 0.89lbs
1/4" aluminium baseplate: 1.4lbs
Spreader support tubes and fixing bolts (6 needed): 0.38lbs
Baseplate-mast fixing bracket (2 needed): 0.54lbs
Fibreglass Centre Post: 1.4lbs
Wire (5 bands): 2.2lbs

Measured Total: 13.17lbs

73,
Steve G3TXQ

Steve, What type of fishing pole's do you use for the spreaders? Are they
crappie poles? Also, what length are they?

Thank you and thanks to all who have replied. Your help and suggestions are
all appreciated!
