MFJ-1622 antenna ?

Hello,

I bought a MFJ1622 antenna at a flee market, but it lacks some parts : wip
and wiring.
I have replaced the wip by a TR-PP-13 collapsible ( military antenna) but I
don't have any idea of how was the original wiring of this antenna.
I tried several kind of wiring and they work , rather well, but I would like
to know and use the original wiring...

Could someone explain to me, how it is made ?

Thanks a lot.

SC

OK Bert, thanks a lot for your answer.

I have already found that manual, but it don't explain the wiring with a
schema.

I had found this link :
http://www.pbase.com/vr2ham/image/84202109
But I wonder whether it is the good manner, to connect the coax at the
bottom of the coil , because I'm afraid that the wire between the alligator
clip and the bottom of the coil makes a short circuit which could decrease
the quality of the active part of the coil.
I wonder whether the original wiring, wouldn't be not isolated from the
bottom of the coil...
Another idea would be that the wiring would be the same that the wiring of
the "miracle antenna" which ran nicely at my last tests ?
