Building AUTO TUNER
I would like to build my own auto tunner and need info on software. My plan
is to use a car ecu computer for the controller as it already has much of the digital an analog interface I will need, is rugged and cheap at the local scrap yard. Before someone yells "why are you using that for a controller", the point is to use one for something other than its intended purpose. I just thought an automatic antenna tuner would be a good use for one. |

When I retired from Intel, most ecu controllers ran their programs from internal ROM which is not reprogrammable. Seems something like a PIC would be a more logical choice. -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 80,000 Newsgroups - 16 Different Servers! =----- |

I just thought an automatic antenna tuner would be a good use for one. There was a series of articles on a software-controlled tuner in qst a year or two ago. Bob k5qwg |
