Convert to moderation?

I am lazy and do my newsreading from groups.google.com, I do a spam-
reporting run of 10 messages or so every time I read, and I notice
that going back in time spam abates. It looks like other googlers do
the same. I haven't used news through a proper server in a while, I
mostly dread the volume. Any suggestions for filtered servers
available to all?
