grounding half size g5rv
 
hi were is the best place to ground the g5rv,i have ground wire from pl259
were coax connects to the ladder line,then run to ground rod is this
rightor should it be run from radio end

Dear Dave,

It is simpler to do the earthing at the point where the coax is coming
as close to the earth as it gets.

You may find it helpful to build a "ground frame", which is a metal
framework having bulkhead UHF connectors in a metal plate, which is
then well earthed. The coax lines from the antennas come to this plate
and then proceed into the shack from the other side. You can place as
many deep ground rods as you like around that frame and connected to
that frame - the more the better.
