Dipoles falling apart?

My antennas take 90 deg bends as they go thru insulators.
Using 14 gauge insulated wire.
Anyone have ideas as to avoid the fraying?

Does it cause any problem to just resolder it.... electrical tape
it where it frayed thru?

Wrap the wire around itself at the insulator, i.e. don't
allow the wire to slide back and forth through the insulator.

Make sure the solder is used as the electrical connection, not
as the mechanical connection.
