Fortunately it was just one resistor... I eventually replaced it, and

Were you involved with THE pinball machine?

Geoff, you're one of only four people alive today (I think) who would
remember that particular incident.

Yeah, I was the guy hidden under the bed with the remote-control box
for the "voice operated" flippers.

I thought so. :-)

For those that weren't there (almost the entire world), Dave and I grew up in
Philly and had mutual friends.

It must of been either the summer of '70 or '71, someone gave me a huge spool
of teflon coated #20 copper wire (worth a fortune but we did not know that)
and someone else gave me a working pinball machine.

They both ended up in another friend's bedroom and with a box, some switches
and push bottons, we ended up with the world's first and possibly only
voice accuated pinball machine.

The reality of it all was Dave was under a bed next to the machine, pushing
buttons and flipping switches.

I remember one "mark" who would not believe that it wasn't real, even when
we moved the bed, Dave popped out and showed him the box. :-)

Geoff.
